About
This is going to be an experiment I believe to be unique in publishing. As I write my Unification Chronicles series of books and the follow-on stories, I’ll be posting absolutely everything here. Notes, outlines, research, even the texts of drafts. And of course final versions of everything in both PDF and podcast form for free.
Why? Because this is what I wished I could see when I was learning to write. I read every word Joe Straczynski posted on the internet during the production of Babylon 5, but I knew there was so much I didn’t have access to. So much I could learn from if I could compare the building blocks to the final product. Well, now, I’m providing that resource to other writers.
WARNING: There be spoilers here, big time. This is an all-access behind the scenes look at a work in progress. It wouldn’t achieve what I want if I held anything back. So if you don’t want to know how the story ends, who the hidden traitors are, where the immortals really came from, etc., head on over to JeffKirvin.net. I’ll keep posting there as well, more general writing and technology articles, and 100% spoiler free. I’ll post there as well when new finished content is available if you just want the stories when they’re done. That’s the dining room, this is the kitchen.
But if you’re a writer, want to be a writer, or ever just wondered how creative people come up with all this stuff, welcome aboard. I look forward to our conversations.

I just finished reading the unification chronicles first 5 volumes. I really enjoyed them. Have you written any more?
Book one is awaiting revision when I get done drafting book 2. The stuff you read is the beginning of book 4. So, getting there, slowly.
actually mr. kirvin you’re in good company. john ringo and a number of publishing houses are doing book publishing online as well. personally i’d rather get the entire e-book fully written in one go so i don’t get stuck like now waiting to see what happens in the war vs. the sauroids. I am keenly interested in seeing what happens in volume 6. The Archangel War was good. It would be stellar if you fleshed out the action scenes and built up the characterizations and backgrounders a bit. yeah i know everybody’s a critic right? haha sorry about that.
Thanks! The rest of the story is coming. Along with a rewritten and updated version of the Demonic Crusade and Angelic Jihad.
