Call for feedback
The idea behind this blog was to provide an example of the writing process for other writers. I’ve posted the entire first draft of the first book in my series, outlines, timelines, a wiki, and lots of articles about the kind of thinking and planning involved in writing a novel. But comments have so far been pretty much nonexistent, so I have to ask: is this idea worth it? Is anyone getting something positive out of this, or am I just barking in the wilderness?

Well, I read everything you post and find it informative and interesting. The few comments I have I’ve usually made on Twitter to you directly. Of course, I’m just one person and it may not be worth the effort to YOU if you don’t get more feedback. But for my part, I’d like to see you continue.
Well I tend to see most of this stuff anyway, but I think you’re doing something interesting here and you need to not worry about who’s seeing it and just worry about doing it. Much like I think you need to stop worrying about all the details and just write the story. No more second guessing, sit down and write.
Based on his comment here, and one other I read, I’d say Josh is your wise adviser and you should listen to him. For what it’s worth, I think you’re doing something important here, the value of which is not ultimately going to be determined by the number of people that read each post as it’s put up. Imagine if Rowling had done something like this with Harry Potter, but abandoned it after the initial draft of the first book because she wasn’t getting enough feedback. Of course she wasn’t. Who knew about Harry Potter when the first book was in its first draft?
I don’t think you need to be writing Harry Potter for this analogy to work. I really think what you’re doing is unique and important
